- What do you do now? What is your goal?
- Currently I am working with a CSR Strategic Consulting Firm called InnoCSR.
At InnoCSR, I am part of both the Research and Marketing Team. In areas of research, I am predominantly involved in researching on CSR topics with respect to China market. Apart from doing research on CSR landscape, I am also involved with the “Ethical Profit Case Business Unit” Website. I worked on the various aspects of the website, such as the look and feel of the website, creating various case related materials for the Case Analysts. Worked on features of the website in terms of content such as (viewpoints, solve your toughest problem, case categorization etc.). I am also working on the case integration with the corporate website for traffic build up.
Some part of my role consists of PR, wherein I investigate on companies through online as well as external interview sources for their CSR activities. I did a case write-up on these companies which was simultaneously published on our company website and presented to the company.
I have created communications material by thoroughly diagnosing InnoCSR product portfolio such as Corporate Brochure, website content work, training program flyers. From the conceptualization stage to the draft stage to finalization stage, I am totally responsible for the content write-up, product framework creation and the overall presentation.
Currently I am handling the training program portfolio, wherein I am involved in overall events activity both the material preparation and the marketing side. I have been using extensive mix of social media tools and widgets and groups, to reach our target group.
My goal is to get into area of strategic consulting relating to market communications.
- What is your interest in business?
- At some point in my life, I would like to start my own business in area of strategic marketing communications and communications that works. Through my work experiences, I am learning the art of developing products but have always been puzzled with why and how consumers behave towards certain products. My experiences in startups have really made a point clear that you have to considerably know and use marketing. I would hence be keen on reading about different facets of marketing and how it can be used as a meaningful tools for revenue generation.
