What do you do now? What is your goal?
I just passed my final accreditation hurdle for APR Accreditation in Public Relations, in the U.S. and I will be relocating to New Delhi in several weeks. My short term goal is to also attain International Accreditation for Business Communicators (1/2 way through the process). I started an MBA program at Johns Hopkins University 09/08 but due to the relocation I will have to put coursework on hold. I am a PR professional with 14 years of international work experience with multilateral agencies, governments, non-governmental organizations and businesses. http://www.RightAngleStrategies.wordpress.com
What is your interest in business?

Cultural Heritage and Economic Trade-offs

Today's New York Times front page story (Thursday, May 28, 2009) is about the razing of the ancient Old City section of Kashgar, China a centuries-old cultural epicenter for Silk Road traders. The area is the "best-preserved example of Islamic-city architecture in Central Asia," not only according to the NYT, but I also visited the area in 1995 to haggle with traders over carpets, trinkets and a camel.
